Fernando Molina wins the Ibero-American Prize for journalism

MADRID, Jan. 12 (UPI) - journalist and writer Bolivian Fernando Molina was awarded the international prize of journalism King of Spain.

Molina was imposed in the Ibero-American category for his article "think Latin America: the beginning", published on 28 August in the Bolivian newspaper "Page 7".

In the article, the author maintains the thesis that in Latin America's major contributions to world thought are those which led to its discovery and incorporated into Western thought: the possibility of being happy on Earth.

The prize international of journalism King of Spain in the Latin American section is equipped with 9,000 euros (11,500 dollars) and a sculpture in bronze by artist Joaquin Vaquero Turcios.
